Week 1
All students have been required to wear safety glasses at all times. No injuries have yet occurred. Keep wearing the safety glasses!! They could save your life.

-Katelyn

Week 2
Saturday there were three band-aids so we need to cut down on the bandage usage, luckily there haven't been any other injuries besides that so far. Students on teams like the technology team don't wear safety glasses while going through the work area. So I would like to advise them to put some safety glasses on and be safe. Keep building + being safe.

Week 3
This week I decided to turn my essay in on time. So... we will not have the extra violence this week. Well we did okay on safety. One problem though is that people don't want to wear their safety glasses when working on the robot. That's a BIG problem. Somebody can get seriously hurt. So either wear somebody can get seriously hurt so either wear your safety glasses or go home. Make sure when testing your objects that you have made that they are secured to something, so they don't fly somewhere and break something or hurt somebody. Sometimes when working on a mall piece it might work better to hold it with a tool instead of your fingers. A channel lock pliers work very well for that. Keep up the great work and BE SAFE!

Week 4
I love being a safety sheriff. This is the most crucial part for safety... we want everyone to be able to go to regionals. We are almost done with the build season and we have done very well so far. Friends have saved other friends when operating with machines. Great Job!!!
Two more weeks with no major accidents will be great. Have fun.
     Be safe,
     Safety Sheriff.

Week 5
We moved to Building H this week. The robot was unsafe with metal shreads comming off the robots. So we're sanding down the robot to be safe. We have been having many difficulties with the robot, but luckily everyone has been pretty safe fixing it. We have kept the horsing around to a minimum and the safety glasses on. Good Job! Keep the good behavior up and have fun!!
