One of Robot Casserole's goals is to promote FIRST Robotics. Over the years we have varied our techniques to accomplish this important mission: we visited District 150's open house and set up an information booth; we also went to a Peoria Chiefs baseball game and demonstrated the robots on the playing field; we demonstrated our robot and let the children experiment with the robot at the Sun Foundation's Arts & Science in the Woods. Every event we attend is undertaken with the idea of inspiring students to become interested in science and technology. Robot Casserole attended a Rivermen Game in 2009. At the Rivermen game we displayed the Robot in the mezzanine, and told people present at the game about Robot Casserole and what we do. At half time we also went out on the ice and showed off our robot from the previous year.

Robot Casserole is also involved in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. In 2007 we went to Caterpillar to show the President of Caterpillar and the CEO one of our robots. Another event we attended was one of the local Chiefs baseball games where we had our robot on display for people to see while they walked by. We also attended College for Kids at ICC, where we showed the kids the robot and allowed them to play around with it as well. Finally, we helped at the Lego League Regional in 2008 and 2009 and we took the opportunity to try to get the attention of possible future participants in Robot Casserole. We have plans to participate in the Summer Science Scavenger Hunt in 2011.
