Robot Casserole follows the Six Sigma DMEDI process on every project it undertakes. Below is a brief description of the Six Sigma DMEDI process:
Define - The purpose of the define phase is to figure out project goals, project scope, a high-level project plan, and team members.
Measure - The intention of the measure phase is to understand the voice of the customer (VOC) and to render it into measurable design requirements.
Explore - The Explore phase focuses on the best way to meet customer needs with the conceptual design, conflicts between customer needs and the company's ability to meet those needs; conflicts between different design parameters; or conflicts between cost and performance are resolved in this phase.
Develop - The Develop phase is where the detailed design occurs. In addition to designing the core process, attention is focused on developing information technology elements of the project, and purchasing materials that will be required for implementation.
Implement - The sole purpose Implement phase is to successfully conduct a pilot.
